Class 4 and Class 7 vehicle categories:Class 4 includes:

  • 1. Three-wheeled vehicles over 450kg.
  • 2. Small vehicles like cars and taxis (Category M1).
  • 3. Minibuses, motorhomes, and ambulances with up to 12 seats (Categories M1, M2, or N1).
  • 4. Some larger pickups (up to 6,500kg).
  • 5. Goods vehicles (vans, trucks) weighing up to 3,000kg.
  • 6. Class 7 includes goods vehicles weighing between 3,001kg and 3,500kg.

Note: If a vehicle has two plates (manufacturer’s and ministry), use the weight listed on the “ministry plate.”
